Get this Look: Emerald Green Transitional Master Bedroom

I am so excited to feature this gorgeous emerald green transitional master bedroom. This featured bedroom is from the Salt Lake Parade of Homes 2018 Model Home 1 by Holmes Homes. This bedroom combines some of my favorite things from different design styles to come together for a gorgeous room that has a touch of luxury to it. Here are 5 tips to recreate this look

1. Wood Plank Ceiling

It is always a good thing to draw the eye up! It really makes a room feel larger and add some great visual interest, plus warmth with this wood plank ceiling. We even have a great tutorial for adding a wood plank ceiling. Don’t forget to finish it off with a unique chandelier or light fixture.

2. Flowing Drapes

One part of the luxury in this room comes from the long flowing cream drapes. They add a touch that looks expensive, even if they don’t cost a fortune.

3. Mixing Wood and Metallic Elements

Add in the transitional with a variety of elements that could work in other styles but blend well for a beautiful balance. The wood tones of the ceiling and the furniture, soft velvety textures, and striking metallics in the lamps, frames, and other small touches really work together in the best way for this room.

4. Luxurious Bedding and Upholstered Headboard

The pop of emerald green on the headboard compliments the light and brightness of the white bedding. Add in varying tones on the pillows and a touch of patterned throw pillows really finish off this bed. It looks like it came right out of a fancy hotel.

5. Matching Accent Chairs

Lastly,  layer on the emerald green color and texture by adding a seating area at the foot of the bed. This adds a place to read, or relax in this beautiful master bedroom.
